In July 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work La Fleuve by Madeleine Lemaire. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,851.64), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Madeleine Lemaire achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Le Gouter Au Salon Du Peintre in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 85,250.00 (€ 100,038.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Fleuve von Madeleine Lemaire zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.851,64) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Madeleine Lemaire erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Le Gouter Au Salon Du Peintre im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 85.250,00 (€ 100.038,02).
