Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jeté De Pensées by Madeleine Lemaire was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 620.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Madeleine Lemaire achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Le Gouter Au Salon Du Peintre in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 85,250.00 (€ 100,038.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jeté De Pensées von Madeleine Lemaire kam im Mai 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 620,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Madeleine Lemaire erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Le Gouter Au Salon Du Peintre im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 85.250,00 (€ 100.038,02).
