Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers And Rock by Ma Yuanyu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. The price achieved of HKD 53,775.00 (€ 5,417.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Yuanyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Herons In The Lotus Pond in October last year with an auction result of HKD 432,000.00 (€ 55,358.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers And Rock von Ma Yuanyu kam im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 53.775,00 (€ 5.417,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Yuanyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Herons In The Lotus Pond im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 432.000,00 (€ 55.358,97).
