The price achieved of USD 46,875.00 (€ 36,461.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Ma Yuanyu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October last year the work Herons In The Lotus Pond was auctioned for HKD 432,000.00 (€ 55,358.97).
