This artwork by Ma Yifu achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in April 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction, the work Calligraphic Couplets sold for HKD 200,600.00 (€ 22,834.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ma Yifu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 46,730.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ma Yifu erzielte im April 2019 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II wurde die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets für HKD 200.600,00 (€ 22.834,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ma Yifu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 46.730,66) versteigert wurde.
