Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Xingshu by Ma Yifu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,015.75). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ma Yifu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 46,730.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Xingshu von Ma Yifu kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.015,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ma Yifu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 46.730,66) versteigert wurde.
