This artwork by Ma Desheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work The Key Crux; & Vision sold for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,048.57) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ma Desheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work United Symphony in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,040,000.00 (€ 99,493.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ma Desheng erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit The Key Crux; & Vision für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.048,57) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ma Desheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit United Symphony im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.040.000,00 (€ 99.493,05).
