Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work A coastal path on the Bay of Naples; and A peasant girl above the Bay of Naples by M. Gianni. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,765.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by M. Gianni have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2006 the work A fishing village before I Faraglioni, Capri; and A girl on a coastal track, the Amalfi coast was auctioned for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,124.30).

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A coastal path on the Bay of Naples; and A peasant girl above the Bay of Naples von M. Gianni zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.765,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von M. Gianni konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2006 die Arbeit A fishing village before I Faraglioni, Capri; and A girl on a coastal track, the Amalfi coast für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.124,30) versteigert.
