Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lydia Masterkova was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,888.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lydia Masterkova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 81,600.00 (€ 120,969.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lydia Masterkova wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.888,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lydia Masterkova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 81.600,00 (€ 120.969,07) versteigert wurde.
