Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Untitled, from the Planets Series by Lydia Masterkova. The price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,834.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lydia Masterkova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 81,600.00 (€ 120,969.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, from the Planets Series von Lydia Masterkova zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.834,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lydia Masterkova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.600,00 (€ 120.969,07).
