Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Migrant Workers by Luo Qing was sold in the BRIC Theme Sale auction at Phillips in London in April 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,069.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Luo Qing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work The Falling Leaf was auctioned for HKD 211,500.00 (€ 17,412.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Migrant Workers von Luo Qing wurde im April 2010 in der Auktion BRIC Theme Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.069,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Luo Qing konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit The Falling Leaf für HKD 211.500,00 (€ 17.412,05) versteigert.
