Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Koller held the auction PostWar & Contemporary, which included the work Landscape No.3. 2006. by Luo Qing. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 5,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 5,520.00 (€ 3,435.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Luo Qing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Falling Leaf in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 211,500.00 (€ 17,412.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Koller die Auktion PostWar & Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape No.3. 2006. von Luo Qing zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 5.520,00 (€ 3.435,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luo Qing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Falling Leaf im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 211.500,00 (€ 17.412,05).
