Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Burning by Luo Qing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 20,160.00 (€ 2,437.49). Admittedly, works by Luo Qing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Falling Leaf in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 211,500.00 (€ 17,412.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Burning von Luo Qing kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 20.160,00 (€ 2.437,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luo Qing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Falling Leaf im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 211.500,00 (€ 17.412,05).
