Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishing In Solitude by Luo Mu was sold in the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,455.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Mu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cloudy Mountains in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 448,735.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fishing In Solitude von Luo Mu wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.455,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Mu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cloudy Mountains im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 448.735,88).
