Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape After Old Masters by Luo Mu. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,206.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Mu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cloudy Mountains in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 448,735.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape After Old Masters von Luo Mu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.206,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Mu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cloudy Mountains im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 448.735,88).
