This artwork by Luo Mu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Ink Landscape, 1673 sold for USD 16,640.00 (€ 15,721.84) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Mu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cloudy Mountains in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 448,735.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 85 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luo Mu erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Ink Landscape, 1673 für USD 16.640,00 (€ 15.721,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Mu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cloudy Mountains im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 448.735,88).
