This artwork by Luo Mu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Kiosk And Distant Hill sold for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 99,235.47) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luo Mu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cloudy Mountains in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 448,735.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luo Mu erzielte im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Kiosk And Distant Hill für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 99.235,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luo Mu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cloudy Mountains im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 448.735,88).
