Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanishreaching For The Stars by Luis Ricardo Falero was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,421.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luis Ricardo Falero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spanish The Enchantress, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,487.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanishreaching For The Stars von Luis Ricardo Falero kam im Februar 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 49.421,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Luis Ricardo Falero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spanish The Enchantress beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 84.500,00 (€ 107.487,69) versteigert wurde.
