Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Twin Stars by Luis Ricardo Falero was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,460.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luis Ricardo Falero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish The Enchantress in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,487.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Twin Stars von Luis Ricardo Falero kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.460,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luis Ricardo Falero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spanish The Enchantress im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 107.487,69).
