Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish night by Luis Ricardo Falero was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,024.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Luis Ricardo Falero have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish The Enchantress in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,487.69).

Die Arbeit Spanish night von Luis Ricardo Falero kam im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.024,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
