Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Flowers by Luis Graner was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in November 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,207.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luis Graner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish maria in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 70,957.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers von Luis Graner kam im November 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.207,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luis Graner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spanish maria im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 70.957,35).
