Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Luis Cruz Azaceta could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Dialogo: Heridas Verbales (Dialogue:Verbal Wounds) changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,968.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luis Cruz Azaceta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rafter: Hell Act I, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,218.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
