Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Self-Portrait with Ring by Luis Cruz Azaceta. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,047.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luis Cruz Azaceta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rafter: Hell Act I in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,218.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait with Ring von Luis Cruz Azaceta zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.047,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luis Cruz Azaceta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rafter: Hell Act I im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.218,78).
