Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Susurro III (Whisper III) by Luis Cruz Azaceta was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in November 2011. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,645.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luis Cruz Azaceta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rafter: Hell Act I, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,218.78).

Die Arbeit Susurro III (Whisper III) von Luis Cruz Azaceta wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.645,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
