Auction result well in line with expectations
The work San Sebastiano Lillipuziano by Luigi Ontani was sold in the Mapping Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in February 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Ontani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ibridoli in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 120,629.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit San Sebastiano Lillipuziano von Luigi Ontani wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Mapping Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Ontani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ibridoli im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 120.629,53).
