In April 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, which included the work Still Life With Statue And Jug by Luigi Lucioni. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,373.59) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Lucioni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Checkered Tablecloth in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 132,473.73).

Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Statue And Jug von Luigi Lucioni zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.373,59) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Lucioni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Checkered Tablecloth im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 132.473,73).
