Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chinese Leaves by Luigi Lucioni was sold in the American Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 28,125.00 (€ 18,976.45). Admittedly, works by Luigi Lucioni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Checkered Tablecloth in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 132,473.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chinese Leaves von Luigi Lucioni wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion American Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 28.125,00 (€ 18.976,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Lucioni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Checkered Tablecloth im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 132.473,73).
