In December 2003 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Campagna al tramonto by Luigi Gioli. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,400.00 38% above the upper estimate. With this result, Campagna al tramonto is even the most expensive work of art by Luigi Gioli that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2003 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Campagna al tramonto von Luigi Gioli zur Versteigerung kam.
