Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deux Petits Ciociari by Luigi Bechi was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2013. It changed hands for a price of EUR 59,100.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Bechi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Playing with the kitten, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Deux Petits Ciociari von Luigi Bechi kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 59.100,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Bechi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Playing with the kitten beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98) versteigert wurde.
