Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italian blowing Bubbles by Luigi Bechi was sold in the Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2018. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,236.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Bechi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playing with the kitten in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Italian blowing Bubbles von Luigi Bechi wurde im Februar 2018 in der Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.236,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Bechi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playing with the kitten im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98).
