Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Il rimprovero by Luigi Bechi was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 400.00 – 450.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Bechi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playing with the kitten in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Il rimprovero von Luigi Bechi im Mai 2018 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 400,00 – 450,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 350,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Bechi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playing with the kitten im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98).
