Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Weaving by Luigi Bechi was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,679.36). Admittedly, works by Luigi Bechi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playing with the kitten in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Weaving von Luigi Bechi wurde im Januar 2015 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.679,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Bechi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playing with the kitten im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98).
