Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled by Lucio Pozzi was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2003, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 358.50 (€ 332.59). Admittedly, works by Lucio Pozzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work (i) Untitled (ii) M 1474 (not illustrated) in March 2012 with an auction result of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,648.37).
