A top price for Lu Zhenhuan
When the work Willows Along The Stream by Lu Zhenhuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 70,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,825.67). This high result makes Willows Along The Stream the most expensive artwork by Lu Zhenhuan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Lu Zhenhuan
Als die Arbeit Willows Along The Stream von Lu Zhenhuan im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 70.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.825,67) mehr als dreimal so hoch. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Willows Along The Stream zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Lu Zhenhuan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
