This artwork by Lu Zhenhuan achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2015. In the Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction, the work Cranes sold for HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,153.72) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Zhenhuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Willows Along The Stream in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,825.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Zhenhuan erzielte im Mai 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Cranes für HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.153,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Zhenhuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Willows Along The Stream im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.825,67).
