The work Reading In The Pavilion by Lu Zhenhuan was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,868.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Zhenhuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Willows Along The Stream, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,825.67).

Die Arbeit Reading In The Pavilion von Lu Zhenhuan wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.868,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Zhenhuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Willows Along The Stream beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.825,67) versteigert wurde.
