Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Perching by the Flowering Branch by Lu Yifei was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 13,314.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Yifei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flora in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,012,500.00 (€ 232,586.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Perching by the Flowering Branch von Lu Yifei wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 13.314,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Yifei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flora im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.012.500,00 (€ 232.586,01).
