In December 2021 Christies held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center, which included the work Misty Rain in South Lake by Lu Yifei. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,831.77), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Yifei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flora in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,012,500.00 (€ 232,586.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center durch, in der auch die Arbeit Misty Rain in South Lake von Lu Yifei zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.831,77) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Yifei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flora im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.012.500,00 (€ 232.586,01).
