Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Cat And Butterfly by Lu Yifei. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 24,651.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Yifei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flora in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,012,500.00 (€ 232,586.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cat And Butterfly von Lu Yifei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 24.651,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Yifei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flora im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.012.500,00 (€ 232.586,01).
