Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Mount Huang by Lu Qingyuan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 18,498.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Lu Qingyuan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December last year the work Peacock and Azaleas was auctioned for HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,178.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mount Huang von Lu Qingyuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 18.498,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Lu Qingyuan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres die Arbeit Peacock and Azaleas für HKD 226.800,00 (€ 27.178,69) versteigert.
