Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waterfall by Lu Qingyuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,583.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Qingyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peacock and Azaleas, which sold at auction in December last year for HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,178.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waterfall von Lu Qingyuan kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.583,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Qingyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Peacock and Azaleas beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für HKD 226.800,00 (€ 27.178,69) versteigert wurde.
