Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peacocks by Lu Qingyuan was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. The price achieved of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 26,243.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Other works by Lu Qingyuan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December last year the work Peacock and Azaleas was auctioned for HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,178.69).

Die Arbeit Peacocks von Lu Qingyuan wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 26.243,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden.
