A top price for Lu Peng - as previously expected
The work Goldfishes by Lu Peng was sold in the Asia+ / First Open auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2015. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 11,259.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 75,000.00 – 115,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Goldfishes is the most expensive artwork by Lu Peng that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Goldfishes von Lu Peng wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Asia+ / First Open bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 11.259,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 75.000,00 – 115.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Goldfishes das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lu Peng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
