Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Swordsmen Of Wind And Dust by Lu Peng was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia auction at Christies in New York in March 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,490.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Lu Peng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Goldfishes in March 2015 with an auction result of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 11,259.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Swordsmen Of Wind And Dust von Lu Peng wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.490,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Peng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Goldfishes im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 11.259,43).
