The work Lotus Pond 2016 No. 10 by Lu Chuntao was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 45,696.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Other works by Lu Chuntao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2015 the work Egrets In Autumn was auctioned for CNY 413,000.00 (€ 58,722.90).
