Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lotus Pond 2015 No. 109 by Lu Chuntao was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,136.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Chuntao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egrets In Autumn in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 413,000.00 (€ 58,722.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lotus Pond 2015 No. 109 von Lu Chuntao wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.136,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Chuntao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egrets In Autumn im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 413.000,00 (€ 58.722,90).
