Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper, which included the work Lotus Pond No.55 2014 by Lu Chuntao. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,785.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Chuntao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egrets In Autumn in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 413,000.00 (€ 58,722.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus Pond No.55 2014 von Lu Chuntao zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.785,55) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Chuntao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egrets In Autumn im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 413.000,00 (€ 58.722,90).
