Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Christies in Shanghai held the auction First Open | Shanghai, which included the work Lotus Pond 2015 No.091 by Lu Chuntao. The price achieved of CNY 96,000.00 (€ 12,214.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Chuntao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egrets In Autumn in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 413,000.00 (€ 58,722.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion First Open | Shanghai durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus Pond 2015 No.091 von Lu Chuntao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 96.000,00 (€ 12.214,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Chuntao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egrets In Autumn im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 413.000,00 (€ 58.722,90).
