Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Louise Giovanelli could be acquired at Phillips in London in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Seal changed hands for GBP 25,400.00 (€ 29,166.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louise Giovanelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Ex, which sold at auction in October this year for GBP 76,200.00 (€ 87,498.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louise Giovanelli konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Seal für GBP 25.400,00 (€ 29.166,26) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Louise Giovanelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Ex beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für GBP 76.200,00 (€ 87.498,77) versteigert wurde.
