Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Brassai Swimming in Pool. by Louise Dahl-Wolfe for EUR 1,875.00. This price was achieved in the auction Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Photographie at Grisebach and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louise Dahl-Wolfe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nude On Beach, California, 1948 in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,998.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Brassai Swimming in Pool. von Louise Dahl-Wolfe für EUR 1.875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Photographie bei Grisebach erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louise Dahl-Wolfe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nude On Beach, California, 1948 im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.998,79).
